Layman's explanation:	Inesite is a fairly uncommon mineral that occasionally forms, pink, orange or red to rose colored, triclinic specimens. It is often mistaken for rhodochrosite because of its rose color and slants of the crystals. However, rhodochrosites crystals have six faces while inesites crystals only have one steeply slanted face. It is used as a mineral specimen for collectors.
