Piperazinomycin

Piperazinomycin is a natural product that was isolated from the cultured broth of Streptoverticillium olivoreticuli.

Chemical Formula: C18H21N2O2Br
Other names: Piperazinomycin monohydrobromide
Layman's explanation: Piperazinomycin is a naturally occuring macrocylic piperazine. This natural product is colorless and insoluble in water and was isolated from the bacterium streptovercillium olivoreticulis. This metabolite possesses antimicrobial, antifungal as well as antibiotic properties. Piperazinomycin can be synthesized by a bacteria of the streptovercillium genus.
